Tossa de Mar (cat. Tossa de Mar) is a town and municipality in the region of La Selva, simply called Tossa until 1985. It is part of the so-called Selva Marítima and borders with the counties of the Baix Empordà and Gironès, by the municipalities of Lloret de Mar, Vidreres, Caldes de Malavella, Llagostera and Santa Cristina d’Aro.
