Pals (cat. Pals) is a town and municipality of the comarca Baix Empordà (Spain, Catalonia). It borders with the municipalities of Torroella de Montgrí, Fontanilles, Palau-sator, Torrent, Regencós and Begur. The name of the town comes from the Latin “palus”, which means wetland and refers to the nearby wetlands. More
